Product Pricing

One of the core functionalities provided by Global-e is products price conversion to local currency. The conversion flow is as follows:

UK merchants

• Original sale price in merchant currency as configured in merchant’s ecommerce platform
• Pocket VAT (default) or deduct VAT
• Country coefficients applied (if configured)
• Conversion applied
• Rounding rules applied

EU merchants

• Original sale price in merchant currency as configured in merchant’s ecommerce platform
• Distance selling regulations to EU \ outside EU Pocket VAT (default) or deduct VAT
• Country coefficients applied (if configured)
• Conversion applied
• Rounding rules applied

Non EU and UK merchants

• Original sale price in merchant currency as configured in merchant’s ecommerce platform
• Country coefficients applied (if configured)
• Conversion applied
• Rounding rules applied
